They I WILL NOT reply to Email. All the web site showed was "drivers" but nothing that I use.
They were there, it worked great for a while but all the sudden all are gone but the international feed which is not live and mostly not in English. I bought one specifically to listen to the USA Family Radio feeds.
SUPPOSEDLY you can add stations by going to their web site with info and then downloading a file on a memory stick and updating your radio.I tried, it was not doable for me and a HUGE hassle. Why they dissapeared is a mystery no one will reply to Emails.
All along I have been able to listen online on my PC so it makes zero sense. Needless to say I do not reccomend this product or any of the companies internet radios until they do a MAJOR act cleanup.
What is THAT.
The unit was about 50 feet and three walls away. I bought this radio because I live in an area with terrible regular reception. I wanted to use the wireless but it would not connnect. I ran a Cat6 wire and now the unit works perfectly. I love this unit.
The Aluratek AIRMM01 Internet Radio Alarm Clock with built in WiFi worked as advertised for my purposes.I wanted a WiFi internet radio to put in the kitchen for my wife who works out of the house and likes to listen to the radio all day.I first tried the SqueezeBox and had all kinds of trouble with that one, so I bought the AIRMM01 which was less expensive and works great.Pick your wifi router from the list and enter the code (if secured) and then pick a station and you have internet radio--awesome. It has some other features, but haven't looked into those yet.The remote control is necessary (comes with), so don't loose it.The sound quality is really good for a clock radio, but nothing like a bose radio or anything. There is an audio output, so you can hook it up to a better sound system. This was the least expensive internet radio that I could find and it works great for my purposes.Note: it cuts out once in a while, i think because of wifi interference, though I'm not sure.
Time to come out of the dark ages and get one of these. Nice features and the world at your feet with regard to global radio content. You will like it.
This radio is a great idea, but it is not easy to set up and somewhat difficult to use for someone without any technical skills. But the main problem is their service policy. The remote did not work, so I called the company and was told they would replace it and/or the radio - but that their rule was that I had to pay to ship the entire unit it back to them.
